Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze clinical trial protocols and other study documents
  • Apply CPT/CHPCS codes for items and procedures using coding software
  • Review and interpret relevant clinical practices guidelines, Medicare policies, and site specific polices to complete analysis
  • Develop and negotiate site budgets for clinical research trials
  • Collaborate with clinical trial sites to ensure budget meets client needs
  • Apply company standards and expertise along with site specific information to negotiate favorable budgets
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, effectively managing relationships and providing service guidance
  • Prepare coverage analysis and budget documents as deliverables for clients
  • Work closely with other analysts to manage clients and work queues and meet established quality standards and turnaround times
  • Conduct quality assurance (QA) review of analysts' work
  • Identify and escalate issues to management as needed
  • Complete Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) builds
  • Complete other duties as assigned

 Education and Experience

·           Bachelor’s degree in science, economics, or a related analytical field.

·      Minimum of 2 years’ experience completing coverage analysis and/or clinical trial budgets 

Skills and Knowledge

·        Ability to understand and apply complex policies and regulations of a scientific and technical nature.

  • Familiarity with Medicare guidelines and/or clinical research trials (specifically study start-up)

·        Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

·        Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.

·        Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

·        Proficient with Excel.
